Opportunites to Pray Together

Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast 1st Saturday of the month at the Vicarage, from 9am, prayer, coffee and croissant. Next is the 1st February – come, join us and pray for Chilworth, and God’s Kingdom here.
Thursday evening at St Thomas at 7:30 pm for an hour every other week. ** 16th January & 6th February.

 Food and Hygiene Bank

The Foodbank Larder box is now located in the porch of St Thomas' Church.  Many thanks for your donations.  Suggested items are: - Long life milk /tins tuna/ tins meat/ pasta/sachets microwaveable rice /pasta sauces/curry sauces/cereal/spreads/ tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate/ tins soup/ baked beans

 
 

Tea Bars

So many thanks for all the hard work done by so many, the church coffers have grown and the food bank has benefited from all the effort – So many thanks.

 
 

Chilworth Tinies and Toddler Group

Mondays from 9:15 -10:30am  meet in St Thomas', play chat, pray and support.

 
 

Mince Pies

Many thanks to all who donated to our marvellous mountain of mince-pies at St Thomas' enjoyed by so many after our various Christmas services - we were also able to donate a few of the extra boxes to the Foodbank to be enjoyed over the festive season. Thank you, too, to all who helped serve them up.

 
 

Parish Needs Process

The new phase of this has started, we had a meeting with our Diocesan Mission Enabler, Rev’d David Senior om Friday 3rd January at the Vicarage with the PCC. We discussed and planned the next steps. Please keep praying as we seek God’s will for the parish and how with our limited resources we can grow God’s Kingdom here.

 
 

Used Stamps

Don't forget to keep the stamps from your Christmas cards and leave them in the box at the back of St Thomas' so that they can be taken to Oxfam in the new year.
