***Matthew 11: 28-30 (NRSVA)***

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.’

Joint PCC Away Day 11th July 9am

The first Joint Benefice PCC Away Day will take place at St Nicholas’ Church, Bury Street, Guildford GU2 4AW on Saturday 11 July. We begin at 9am with welcome (and Coffee) then at 9.15am we will have a short Morning Prayer followed by Revd Dr Sam Wells speaking on ‘Being With’ - which underpins our vison as a Benefice. From 11am Victoria Ashdown, a Diocesan facilitator, will lead us in putting this vision into action notably as we create our Benefice and Parishes’ Development Plans. A sandwich lunch will be served and we will finish by 2pm.

There is no Parking at St Nicholas’ Church so use the town centre car parks such as Millbrook or Castle Street and ideally lift share! This promises to be an exciting step forward in our journey together and we are delighted to be welcoming Sam Wells.
